It can be difficult being a new mum in any location, especially if you had previously been working. You may at times miss being with friends you have made at work.
If you have just had your first baby, there can be other challenges especially if you do not know the local area very well. You may have lived and worked here for a while, but now you are looking for different things, places to go and information or resources.

As your baby grows into a toddler their needs change. We have not forgotten this and have some things listed below to assist you when your child becomes a toddler. For example, you may need to consider registering your child for a playgroup.
